Organic Food for a Sustainable Future – FQH Conference 2024

Conference Overview

The Organic Food for a Sustainable Future conference, held in Copenhagen from 11-13 November 2024, was organized by the International Research Association for Organic Food Quality and Health (FQH) in collaboration with the University of Copenhagen, Faculty of Science.

The conference aimed to promote dialogue, cooperation, and action towards a more sustainable and robust food system built on ecological principles. It provided a platform for producers, policymakers, and researchers to explore the role of organic food in a sustainable future.

Over the three days, participants engaged in insightful discussions on key topics, including:

  • Sustainable public food procurement and organic foodservice
  • Organic markets, business strategies, and consumer behavior
  • Health and nutritional benefits of organic food
  • The role of organic districts in regional food system transformation

The event featured inspiring keynote speeches, panel discussions, and interactive poster sessions, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange.
